Acupuncture is a major component of Chinese Medicine dating back over 4000 years.  The healing mechanism of acupuncture is based on the flow of Qi and Blood throughout the body's system of energetic pathways, called Meridians.   Blockages in the meridians' flow of Qi and Blood are believed to cause disease, pain, or ill health.  Acupuncture works to rebalance the flow of Qi and Blood by stimulating specific acupoints on the Meridians of the body.  Acupuncture is effective as Cosmetic and Wellness Care, Preventive Medicine, and for both acute and chronic conditions.
